Who am I and what do I do?
“Being creative is essential to my life and my wellbeing. I can’t function without it.”
I am a self-taught artist. For my illustrations, I use pencils, pens, markers and watercolours. I love to get inspired by watching ‘how-to’ videos on YouTube or taking online courses. Illustration is the most natural and comfortable way for me to express myself. I love to disappear into a magical place of colours, shapes and lines, and transfer my mind’s inner workings onto the pages of my sketchbooks. You can view my artwork in the portfolio page on the website or start exploring by clicking on one of the buttons bellow. For more info and stories I will see you on the blog page.
Making art provides me with a sense of belonging and purpose.
I’m Martina,
a mixed-media artist based in Surrey, UK.
